It appears that our district has submitted all of the required PIMS information correctly and accurately. All three reports have been received by PIMS without exceptions.

To me, one of the most important advantages ProSoft has over other software companies is that it is a company specializing in Pennsylvania schools and owned by a person who cares about his company and clients. I have been to many seminars to learn about new PDE requirements or changes and ProSoft is right there at the forefront gathering the information to make it happen. ProSoft will change its software or create new programs to make the filing of reports or gathering of data easy for me as the Business Manager. I am able to link the information in ProSoft to the AFR and budget reports with ease. I am also impressed by the knowledge and expertise of the employees when we call for help. ProSoft gives you that personal touch because you get to know the people you speak to on the telephone; they are more than just the customer service representatives that you get with a national company.

I wanted to voice my gratitude for the assistance ProSoft Technologies, Inc. has offered during my two year tenure and the tremendous amount of patience and time put in by ProSoft to help us create and maintain a viable schedule for our school. I have been involved in implementing ProSoft software twice since 1994. More recent, at A.W. Beattie where we replaced both our Financial and Student Accounting. Previously, we had been using two different vendors and the last few years have been difficult ones because everyone had been having problems. Several employees were very skeptical that any software could properly handle the needs of our vocational career center. We decided to switch to one vendor, ProSoft, for all of our software.
The ProSoft people were able to work with my staff to get the system up and running for the beginning of the school year. Now the people who were the biggest skeptics are the biggest supporters of the ProSoft System. I was convinced in 1994 that ProSoft had the best software for schools and my experience in 2006 has only confirmed that belief.

In 2005, the Shaler Area School District needed to upgrade its Financial and Student Accounting Software. Although we had used ProSoft for the past 10 years, we still wanted to evaluate all available software and choose the best software for both applications.
